EACMFS POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME HEAD AND NECK SURGERY: ONCOLOGY (2023)

EACMFS has become the most prominent and respected scientific reference for the
specialty in Europe and is highly considered in other parts of the World.
According to our self-definition, the objectives of the Association are to promote
cranio-maxillo-facial surgery in theory and practice and to attempt to establish uniform
training requirements for the specialty in Europe and encourage these worldwide.
With the second edition of the EACMFS Postgraduate Programme Head and Neck
Surgery: Oncology we aim to provide our colleagues with an updated knowledge
concerning the state-of-the-art treatment in head and neck cancer. The surgical
treatment of head and neck tumors including the multidisciplinary view of other
specialists working in this region and the full armamentarium of reconstructive surgery
is fully covered in our comprehensive Postgraduate Programme.
Assessment
Participants will be evaluated through:
• Online written examination (multiple choice questions)
Requirements for enrollment and applicant selection
Applicants are required to have the following credentials:
• EACMFS membership
A total of 16 applicants will be selected by the Scientific Directors.
EACMFS Certificate and accreditation
Upon completion of the Head and Neck Surgery: Oncology Postgraduate Programme, the
participants will receive a Certificate issued by the EACMFS.
Furthermore, an application for online learning course has been made to the UEMS EACCME® for
CME accreditation of this event.
Application deadline and start date
Applications for consideration must be submitted no later than 15 February 2023 to Programme
co-ordinator Ms Lidia Zaleczna (email: lidiazaleczna@eacmfs.org).
The Programme starts on 21 March 2023 with the online learning course.
Tuition fee
A tuition fee of €3,500 must be paid upon acceptance by bank transfer.
The tuition fee covers the cost of the live online course, the hands-on workshop, examination and
Certificate.
The fee doesn’t cover traveling, accommodation and living expenses during both clinical
observership and the hands-on workshop.

• An up-to-date curriculum vitae
• Letter of support of the application from the Head of the referring department, former Head or Councillor
